Lots of my favourite shows are back!

I have thoughts on them!

These thoughts are mainly of the flaily variety! And include an overabundance of gifs!

White Collar's back! Yaaaay! Mozzie's not dead! Yaaaaaaaaaay! El continues to be made of awesome! Yaaaaaaaaaay! Peter Burke is on a horse! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

I think Tim Dekay has stealth hotness. I keep forgetting how ridiculously attractive that man is. I'm all distracted by the shiny of Bomer's prettiness and then Bam! Oh yeah, Dekay is the hottest. No contest. He has tickets to that thing you like.

Also, "Junior?" Hilarious.

My feelings about Community can (as per usual) be mainly summed up in gif form. Abed's eyebrows are practically a character in their own right, much like Kyle Chandler's hair on FNL:

I kinda love Rich for playing along with the Troy and Abed in the Morning stuff. But I am still slightly concerned that he may be a serial killer.

And Being Human (the real one) is back too! Hurrah!

I am very glad that Annie is back but deeply suspicious as to the consequences of that. There is no way purgatory just let them go without wanting a price. And they gave Annie a new outfit too, which is definitely shady. And Mitchell, you are an idiot - when you are a vampire in purgatory and a dead person is all "ooooh, don't you recognise me?" then it is blatantly obvious that you killed them, you angsty fool! (But I still love you and your army surplus hand warmers.)

And obviously I love Russel Tovey's arse because I am a human being with eyes, so bless you Being Human for yet another outing for that fine posterior.

Other things I loved:

• Nina being a fully fledged member of their rag tag family.
• Unexpected dogging Kai Owen!
• Dennis Pennis!
• Robson Green doing some SRS BZNS acting. Love it.
• Lauren Socha's bro sounding exactly like her.

I was trying to actually not resort to gifs for this one, but the compulsion overwhelmed me!

 

And as to all the Batman news - I am unsure of what I think. It's all a tumbly mix of "yay Tom Hardy with lots of muscles" but also "erm, whitewashing again, Nolan?" and a confused blend of "yay an interesting actress playing Selina" with a side dish of "please don't make her a prostitute / full on psychotic / dead / all of the above." It could all turn out bloody brilliantly (despite certain misgivings Nolan films always end up winning me over) or this could be an absolute disaster, so I'm trying to put off thinking about it. At least until the inevitable photos surface of Tom Hardy and Christian Bale play fighting on set. Then I'll just die of fangirl-joy.

Tim DeKay definitely has stealth hotness. Also, for someone to look good standing next to Matt Bomer everyday has to be a feat.

What is with this 'Rich is a serial killer' theory that's floating around fandom? It didn't even cross my mind once during the episode, and now I'm seeing it crop up EVERYWHERE. Please explain!

I'm also unsure about Batman stuff, mostly because I'm not a big fan of Anne Hathaway. But Nolan is Nolan, so I'm going to quit worrying and just go watch the movie when it comes out and love it, like I know I will.

The psycho theory comes from that flashback in Beginner Pottery with Rich's mom being all scary. I don't really think that's where they're going, but that level of Ned Flandersesque niceness is just so creepy!

I'm not the hugest Anne Hathaway fan or anything, but I'm just so glad they hired someone who's generally regarded as talented rather than hiring someone based on their looks.
