Geeky peeps bring me geeky gifts!

Look at me, posting two days in a row. It's shocking, I know. And I will probably post tomorrow as well, because my Arthur cross stitch is framed and looking lovely and i can't wait to share him with the interwebs!
But first, I wanted to share a few Christmas pressies I got, because they are awesome and need to to be shown off!
Turns out that Mama Blaize was rather touched by the wee thing I posted for her birthday. (Which I still can hardly believe I shared with her - combining parentals and fandom makes my brain do terrible Ghostbusters-esque "don't cross the streams" impersonations.) But she loved it, and was inspired to make me a handmade pop-up Christmas card which was Star Wars themed.
This is how it looked from the front:

And this is the inside:

You can see how the pop-up bit works in this one:

So awesome, isn't it?!
Also, I told you my family were obsessed with arrays of hedgehogs:

(From left to right; top row - hedgehog gift bag, second row - two chocolate hedgehogs, two marzipan faced, chocolate crispie bodied hedgehogs, third row - hedgehog gift tag, two different hedgehog Christmas tree ornaments, bottom row - hedgehog cheese grater, two hedgehog gingerbread cookies) Now the word hedgehog looks really weird. Hedgehog. Heeeeeedgehooooog. Hodgeheg?
And in yet more I-am-so-showing-off news, the super (soo-pa-paa!)
rooferrocks (roo-fa-faa!) made me my very own Tardis journal just like River Song's. And it is wonderful! Lookit!

The first pic shows off the amazing 3Dness of the book (it's ever so slightly squishy which is just fantabulous), but this one properly does the proper tardis blue justice:

And it's even got gallifreyan on the inside sleeves:

Ain't I just the luckiest?!
