anonymityblaize: (disappointed coach)

Watching the Lost finale, the last episode of season 6 of House and Joss Whedon's episode of Glee all in one evening has made my head all hurtified. If my mood theme had an option for discombobulated I would pick it. It is my word of the day. Also, I believe in duct tape. More coherant thoughts at a later date.

Totally forgot to add these to my earlier post. Time to go into hiding now until I can watch it tomorrow.

So, my thoughts on new Who have had time to percolate.

To my mind Doctor Who has the most amazing premise for a TV show ever. You can go anywhere, anywhen, and tell stories in any genre. You can swap out any member of the cast or crew and the journey can still continue. Even in its ropiest days, every Doctor had some amazing stories (although the 6th, 7th and 8th Doctor's best stuff happens in the Big Finish audios).

So my expectations were very high. And they were not only met but exceeded.

Slightly ramble-y stuff ahead.

In case anyone's missed this...

Hot men, innuendo, and gentlemanly magnanimous behaviour. What's not to love?

Oh, journal. How I have abandoned you of late. But tomorrow I'll be back home (my kitty! my telly! my sofa!) and I'll get started posting all the homemade Christmas pressies I wanted to keep under spoiler-wraps!

Hope everyone had a lovely festive season (or at least a bearable one!).
