Hello all! I had a few weeks where I couldn't do much interetting due to boring reasons and then I went and discovered I'd gotten some sort blogging stage fright. It's all a bit odd. So I'm easing myself back into the swing of things with a picspam because that cures all ills. Going to catch up with replying to comments and posting the stuff I've been making lately over the next few days.

A Picspam of Oral Fixation
Sep. 12th, 2011 03:48 pmTechnologies throughout my home are failing and breaking and generally causing me irritation, but for once my computer and the internet are robust, so what's my usual cure for woe?
Picspams!
You could argue that the smoking picspam is already a picspam of oral fixation, but I'm fine with any excuse for yet another theme or subcategory of picspammage. Any excuse at all!
So, here's a picspam that ended up becoming mainly a James McAvoy and Tom Hardy picspam, with some other lovely people sandwiched in between, and a rather lovely preponderance of toothpicks and bottles. (Warning: over 100 pieces of yumminess in this post, many of them gifs.) Enjoy!

I'm working my way through the picspams you want to see, so next up will be "Sexy People Who Are Wearing Leather Gloves In a Sexy Manner." Feel free to comment spam me with any of your faves for that or any other themed picspam!

Jul. 6th, 2011 10:47 pmSo that "I might make a Michael Fassbender smoking picspam" idea turned into this behemoth attractive people smoking post. I have no idea why I have spent so long on this. I make poor life choices. I blame enabling enablers who enable. And also Michael Fassbender.
I hereby disclaim that smoking is BAD and WRONG, kids, so click no further if this picspam will bother you. And also if you are on a slow connection because there are at least 80 something pics and gifs up in this post.

There is too much good telly in the world. When did that happen? How did that happen? There are two unwatched episodes of Chuck sitting on my sky+ box, which is insane. I love Chuck! But there are so many good things that need watching just now. I genuinely think that when I fall in love with a new tv show I am undergoing the exact same chemical reaction as actually falling in love. It's such a rush.
I'm probably not helping myself by rewatching Community right now, but it's just so addictive and it makes me so happy.
And last week's episode of Misfits BLEW. MY. MIND. If you are not watching it, then get on that right away. Damn. I kinda want to post spoilery stuff but I shall refrain for now 'cos I think only a few people on my flist watch. For shame. But have an unspoilery gif anyway.
Oh, Iwan. So adorbs.

I am cold. But I am still stunned at the way Britain just falls apart when it snows. The media act like it's some sort of unheard of occurrence every single time. Madness. But it is very pretty outside. Scaffolding looks a lot less ugly with a dusting of snow and icicles hanging off it.
On the underground the other day I witnessed a part of some stranger's snow related rant. But I wish I knew the whole story.

Have finally made some progress with the cafe press shops. (Has anyone else ever sold stuff through cafe press? Is it just me or is their system a little wonky? Or just convoluted. I keep clicking links and ending up somewhere totally different from where I expected to be.)

Nov. 21st, 2010 08:51 pmFor some reason I don't really understand, I have some sort of post-craft-project-completion ennui. It all feels very anti-climactic to have finished my Serenity cross stitch, and I got a bit down after posting it. I am weird.
